Performance and reports

As a responsible business we are continually looking to improve our performance and the service we provide our stakeholders. We set ourselves ambitious annual targets which we report our progress against below.

We are pleased to report that 85% of our targets were fully met.

We track our progress by measuring our performance against the Key Performance Indicators above. These are linked directly to our Costain Cares strategy and were selected because they seek to address the issues that matter to Costain and our stakeholders.

Our performance assessment tool is used to assess the performance of key suppliers on a regular basis against a number of indicators including Health and Safety, programme, commercial and quality performance. The assessment and results are used as a basis for discussion with each strategic and preferred supplier of their performance and to put in place, where necessary, actions to improve performance.
